Servants Anonymous Society

NEW FOR 2008

Calgary Corporate Challenge is proud to support Servants Anonymous Society through our new Total E & P Canada Golf Tournament. A portion of each teams registration fee and mulligan sale proceeds will be donated to this worthwhile charity.

Servants Anonymous Society of Calgary [SAS] is a non-profit agency formed in 1989 to address the issues of young women ages 16-29 involved in, or at risk of involvement in, the sex trade. These women have also experienced other related issues, including homelessness, poverty, substance addictions, and violence against women. SAS provides opportunities for these women to reintegrate back into society by transitioning into a healthy lifestyle. They are one of the very few organizations in Calgary that offers a long-term program for our women, including those who arrive pregnant or with children.

Take up the Charity Challenge and become involved with Servants Anonymous Society all year round. Here are some ideas of how you can make a difference.

Donate

Items: Common donated items to SAS include, but are certainly not limited to, [new or used] clothing, furniture, appliances and toys for our Participants and their children. We also seek donations to provide to our Participant's children at our annual Christmas Reunion, in addition to our variety of fundraising events. If you would like to donate an item, please contact the Donations department located on our contact page.

Financial: SAS also relies heavily on financial contributions in order to fund our program and provide our many resources to our Participants. Financial donations may be made by cheque or credit card; If you or your business is able to make a financial contribution of any denomination, please contact the Donations department located on our contact page.

Volunteer

SAS relies heavily on the participation of the Calgary community. If you are willing and able to donate some of your time to our cause, there are a variety of ways you can help, from assisting with events to onsite administration.
