2013 Human Bonspiel
January 28th to February 8th 2013
Congratulations to the Cognera Buttons, our 2013 champions!
Curling with a twist! Olympic Plaza will be transformed into a giant human curling rink, where the people become the rocks and hurtle themselves down the ice, heading for the house with the goal of landing on the button. Hurry Hard!
2013 Celebrity/Media Team Results
When: January 28th to February 8th , 2013 over the noon hour
Finals will take place on February 8th.
Where: Olympic Plaza (228 8th Ave SE)
This year we have two "Wild Card" spots in the finals. At the end of the 8 days of competition, the two teams with the lowest overall scores in the slide-off round (excluding the daily winner who'll automatically advance) will be invited back for the finals on Friday, February 8th. Teams will be notified on Thursday, February 7th if they are advancing.
As of February 5th, the Wild Card scores to beat are:
BDO Button Crashers (441 cm) & Trican Wrathful Wallabies (545 cm)
Cost: $150/team (up to 4 participants). You may register as many teams as you like.
