Events Cancellation Policy

All CCC events will take place RAIN or SHINE. In the event of severe weather, where safety is an issue, Games Staff will have the final decision regarding event delays or cancellations.

What Factors are considered in Cancelling an Event?

  • Participant safety
  • Volunteer safety
  • Severity of weather
  • Likelihood of conditions improving/ declining

Events cannot be rescheduled due to a number of factors including but not limited to; volunteer scheduling, conflicting participant schedules, venue availability, cost, time, etc.

Several measures have been taken to reduce the likelihood of event cancellations, but if Games Staff are forced to make that call, the events will be cancelled. Trust us, after 11 months of planning the last people who want to cancel an event is the Games Staff. We appreciate your understanding in these matters.

To find out if your scheduled event is delayed or cancelled please check here for information:

1) CCC website at www.calgarycorporatechallenge.com

Updates will be posted on the home page with the date and time of the last update.

The website can only be updated when Games Staff are in the office. If an event is delayed or cancelled when they are on-site, the CCC Hotline will have up to date information on the message.

2) CCC Hotline
