Volunteer Job Descriptions

Company Volunteers

Volunteers are a major part of Calgary Corporate Challenge, and are essential to making this event a success. In recognition of your time & dedication, you will receive a 2010 Calgary Corporate Challenge Volunteer t-shirt, courtesy of Elite Sportswear & Awards.

Company volunteers will help out in areas that involve interaction with participants, other volunteers, and sponsors (ie. registration, race number hand-out). Company volunteers will not be expected to fill highly skilled or technical roles (ie. refereeing or operating sound equipment). Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age, but do not need to be employed by your company. We recommend against anyone both participating and volunteering for the same event due to possible scheduling conflicts (ie. you may be scheduled to participate in an event at the same time as your volunteer commitment).

Note: Any CEO Challenge Team Member who volunteers as part of their company's Volunteer Assignment will receive 10 bonus points in the CEO Challenge
