Volunteers Role: Race Marshal (10K Run)
Purpose
To ensure participants follow the correct route and adhere to the course rules.
Tasks
- Look out for the health and safety of the participants.
- Become familiar with the event rules and course.
- Direct participants so that they keep on course
- Provide encouragement and support to participants.
- Due to the nature of this role, we ask that volunteers DO NOT bring along children.
- Due to the nature of this role, participants must be mobile (many marshal points cannot be reached by vehicle).
- Please dress appropriately for the weather as this volunteer assignment will be outdoors.
