50-50 Ticket Sales

Duties Include:

All events take place in the evening and on weekends at venues throughout the city in September. The approximate time commitment is as follows:

Company Support

Duties Include:

Responsible for the onsite orientation and support of company volunteers who perform registration duties at each event. Company Support also runs CEO Challenge check-in and provides assistance to Event Coordinators. This role is best suited to “people persons” who enjoy supporting, mentoring and providing creative solutions to challenges.

All events take place in the evening and on weekends at venues throughout the city in September. The approximate time commitment is as follows:

Event Coordinator

Duties Include:

Responsible for the implementation of their event which may include: reviewing rules and schedules, volunteer and equipment recommendations, setting up the venue, taking care of equipment and supervising company volunteers who perform duties such as score-keeping. This role is suited to well-organized, detail-oriented people who have a passion for their event.

All events take place in the evening and on weekends at venues throughout the city in September. The approximate time commitment is as follows:

Logistics

Duties Include:

This team is responsible for the delivery, setup and tear down of signage and equipment used at a number of sports (Truck Pull, 10K Run, Scavenger Hunt, Bocce, etc) and special events (Opening Ceremony). Members of this team should be highly organized and in good physical condition.

All events take place in the evening and on weekends at venues throughout the city in September. The approximate time commitment is as follows:

Photography

Duties Include:

Responsible for capturing the essence of the Games via photo opportunities at all sports and special events and at the Volunteer/Sponsor events. The focus of photos will be on “event setup and layout”, “participants in action”, “team spirit” and “sponsor recognition” shots. These images are used in CCC promotional materials and advertising.

*This role requires people with experience in photography who have their own, professional grade, digital camera equipment. CCC will provide photographers with memory sticks and access to DropBox.

All events take place in the evening and on weekends at venues throughout the city in September. The approximate time commitment is as follows:

Special Events

Responsible for assisting with the planning and implementation of the Special Events that occur during the Games. These events include the Opening Ceremony, Family Day, CCC Idol/ Midway Party, and Closing Ceremonies.

  • Meet with the Primary Volunteer team in the Spring for introductions, orientation, and CCC information.
  • Help with set-up and take down of the required events
  • Responsible for registration for CCC Idol
  • Help organize the Closing Ceremonies venue and hand out trophies/medals during the event

All events take place in the evening and on weekends at venues throughout the city in September. The approximate time commitment is as follows:

  • One group meeting in the Spring
  • One committee meeting in the summer
  • One-two evening ‘work bees’ in July or August
  • 25 hours during the September Games (ie. Five x 5-hour shifts)

 

Surveyor 

Responsible for executing the CCC survey at venues throughout the September Games; the surveyor will approach participants while they are not playing in sports events and request they fill out a survey on the tablet provided.   Individuals should be comfortable approaching groups of people as well as individuals and asking for feedback on behalf of CCC.

  • Meet with the Primary Volunteer team in the Spring for introductions, orientation, and CCC information
  • Determine, in conjunction with the Games Staff, which events will be the best event to attend throughout the 2 weeks
  • Ensure as many participants fill out the survey as possible
  • Keep track of tablet and return to Games Staff as appropriate
  • Return tablet to Games Office at the conclusion of the September Games

  • One group meeting in the Spring
  • One committee meeting in the summer
  • One-two evening ‘work bees’ in July or August
