Charity Challenge

Giving Opportunities are initiatives that are put forward by each of our charity partners. Companies can earn a single Special Event Point (these will be converted to Overall Points) for each Giving Opportunity they complete.

There are three categories of Giving Opportunities & a Bonus Point:

1. Give Awareness - An exposure generating opportunity
2. Give Back - A team building opportunity
3. Give More - A high impact ask from each partner

Bonus Overall Point - Go above and beyond to earn one bonus overall point from each charity! See charity-specific pages for more information.

This flexible and extended time frame allows companies to plan their involvement with the various charity partners and to book experiences at their convenience.

Volunteer and event-specific opportunities are offered on specific dates or on an ongoing basis leading up to the September Games.

Participation in the CCC Charity Challenge is open to everyone! Unlike September sports events, friends and family of employees at participating member companies are encouraged to get involved.

Each charity is expected to track and report points, so please be aware of how individuals can indicate which company they are supporting.

1. To learn more and/or book specific Giving Opportunities
2. To receive tax receipts
3. Point discrepancies

Most charity partners accept donations through Benevity. Please ensure participants include a comment with "Calgary Corporate Challenge Charity Challenge" and be sure to provide charity partners with your internal Benevity Report or screenshots of donations to ensure accurate tracking.
